President of Hirshabelle State, Ali Abdullahi Hussein (Ali Guudlaawe), launched a scathing verbal attack on Member of Parliament Haadoole during the official opening of the 17th session of the Hirshabelle Parliament.
The session began with a welcome from the Speaker of the Hirshabelle Parliament, Abdiqakin Luqman Haji Mohamed, who received the president as he addressed the assembly.
In his speech, President Guudlaawe commended the members of the Hirshabelle Parliament for their cooperation and political stability, praising their role in recent anti-terrorism operations.
“You have operated in a stable political environment. The leadership and members of the Hirshabelle Parliament have played a major role in the campaign to eliminate the Khawaarij insurgents,” he said.
However, the tone shifted sharply when the president turned his attention to MP Haadoole, a federal lawmaker who had recently criticized the Hirshabelle administration.
“No one has ever aspired to set up illegal checkpoints except Haadoole,” Guudlaawe said pointedly. “Since the day you were elected, the area between Balcad and Warsheekh has remained tense. Haadoole, steer clear of the behaviors you’ve long been associated with.”
