The Leader of the SSC-Khatumo Regional State, AbdiKadir Ahmed Aw-Ali (Firdhiye), who is currently in Mogadishu, held a significant meeting today with the Acting Ambassador of Norway to Somalia, Carsten Carlsen.
According to a statement from the SSC-Khatumo presidency, the discussions focused on key issues including peacebuilding, political development, stabilization programs, and future cooperation between the two sides.
This meeting is seen as part of SSC-Khatumo’s broader efforts to strengthen international relations and advance development initiatives in the regions under its administration.
Leader Abdikadir Ahmed Aw-Ali is in Mogadishu to officially participate, for the first time, in the National Consultative Council (NCC) conference, scheduled to begin tomorrow.
Firdhiye and a large delegation he leads were warmly received in Mogadishu yesterday by officials from various federal government institutions and representatives from different sectors of civil society in the capital.
In his remarks, the SSC-Khatumo leader expressed gratitude to the Federal Government of Somalia and the Somali people for the warm welcome extended to him and his delegation. He affirmed his commitment to engaging in the National Consultative Forum and holding further meetings with key stakeholders involved in Somalia’s state-building process.
