The Somali Police Command has issued a public notice regarding 145 police officers who are currently unaccounted for.
According to a leaked list obtained by Akhbar Media, the majority of these officers belong to key divisions such as the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), the Bomb Disposal Unit, the Coastal Command, and other critical police branches.
The officers in question have allegedly been absent from their assigned stations for an extended period, particularly from the General Kahiye Police Academy, as stated in the official document. Additionally, they are accused of defying direct orders to report to active combat zones.
In response, the Police Command has ordered these officers to fulfill their duties. The document bears the signature of the Somali Police Force Commander, Asad Abdullahi Osman (Asad Diyaano).
