Local sources indicate that multiple clashes erupted in the area, involving government forces, local fighters, and Al-Shabaab militants. Simultaneously, airstrikes struck Al-Shabaab positions near the nearby village of Ali Fooldheere.
The exact casualty figures remain unclear, but the offensive aimed to weaken Al-Shabaab’s grip on Ceelbaraf, where the group had recently reinforced its presence.
